Photo of project “Warrior” – photographs of soldiers of all military forces in Ukraine from the times of Kyivan Rus and to the war with Russian Federation in our days.
I invited Irina Burban for a photo session of a military volunteer. Ira has been helping the soldiers since the beginning of the war, she has collected and sent hundreds of cargo and gear with the necessary things to the front. The photo shoot took place in December 2014, a few hours before she left for Peski, where Ira risked her life to accompany the cargo. This petite girl looks deceptively fragile, but in fact she is strong, brave and very devoted to the Fatherland and the cause of securing the Ukrainian front. Thanks to such people, their faith and efforts, we will win.
